Thanks for the addt'l information Amy! More information will only help us
make the best possible decision in the long run, although it may confuse
matters in the short term.

My take is that ONI seemed to have dropped the "PUBLIC MEETINGS REQUIREMENTS"
from what you've said, and that "open attendance" is the main point of
everything you've quoted, once again, and that recording of said meetings is
no longer something that's part of the requirements.

All that said, part of what may need to be discussed is whether or not the
BWNA gains anything by being associated with ONI and whether or not that
relationship is actually harmful or non-beneficial to BWNA and should be
severed so that the interests and needs of our members and neighborhood can
come first, before the by-laws of some larger organization that does not have
any particular interest in our local needs and interests.

I would love to get feedback on that particular question: is being asssociated
with ONI and/or CNN necessary for the BWNA, and is it ultimately in our best
interest to sever those ties if we can?

Thanks again Amy! I hope to have enough time to print out everything you,
Jim, Dennis, Dave Whitacker and I have been able to dig up re: legalities!
Thanks much to you all for your work on this. Cheers, Rob V.
