Here's updated minutes, with times corrected. I apologize for the mistakes (I was using a template from an older meeting). Also, I'm not certain of the ending time, but I'm guessing it was around 8:30. If anyone has a better idea, let me know and I'll correct the minutes and send them out again.

Beaumont Wilshire Neighborhood Association general meeting
14 April 2003

In attendance: Margaret Davis, Helen Koba, Melissa Ritter, Bill Markwart, Mario Caoile, Heidi Blischke, Jim Karlock, Ted Perkins, Roger Meyer, Willie Nolan, Officer Martin Padilla, Janet Baker, David Whitaker, Beaumont Middle School Jazz Band, band director Cynthia Pitts

Absences: Dale Griggs

The Beamont Middle School band kicked off the meeting at 6:37 p.m.

Melissa Ritter distributed the agenda for the meeting.

Minutes for the February 2003 general meeting were distributed and approved.

Owners and managers of the restaurants introduced themselves, including representatives from the Alameda Café, Beaumont Bar & Grill, Alameda Baking Co., Cool Runnings Café, Alameda Brewing Co., Savory, Suzanne’s, and Fife.

Cynthia Pitts and the jazz band kicked off the event with “Chitlins” and then performed more numbers while residents ate samples from area restaurants.

Treasurer’s Report:
Balance as of 3/10/03: $4,140.35
Less checks:  717.85
Deposits: 745.
Total: $4,167.50

Elections: The membership nominated and approved a slate of candidates for treasurer, secretary, vice president, and ten board members (six 2-year terms and four 1-year terms).

Meeting was adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
